Mont Grand Morne is a paradise for thrilling activities in all seasons: climbing, hang-gliding, trekking. There is also a lookout and observation tower at the top.
Miners Trail
The site stands out as being one of the rare places in the Thetford region where nature has regained its rights following mining. You will have the chance to explore two former mine shafts that have become large lakes: the Boston Mine (Boston Lake) and the Carey Mine.
Kinnear's Mills Trails
Several footpaths can be trodden in the village with four churches. The Bailey Falls Trail covers a round trip of 3 km in length. The Osgood River Trail offers two circuits of up to 6 km. The Historic Trail travels 7.3 km in the forest and on the road.
Old Dam Trail
At the entrance to the trail, you are greeted by stuffed animals: dozens and dozens of stuffed animals to the delight of the children! They marvel at looking for such cartoon characters, or even spotting their favorite teddy bears.
