In a few words
Located in a mining region, the vast municipal territory covers 104 km², that is to say the major part of the township of Broughton, populated around 1820 by English speakers, and a modest portion of the township of Tring. It completely circumscribes the now regrouped municipalities of East Broughton, 18km east of Saint-Pierre-de-Broughton and 25km north-east of Thetford Mines.
