Hiking is my favorite activity. I am fortunate to have such a choice of walking sites in the Thetford area. And my favorite thing is hiking in the mountains! This type of hike is interesting as it allows additional energy expenditure while offering a deserved reward at the top: a view of the region, often in 360 °, always magnificent. Mountains, lakes, valleys, wind turbines, agricultural and forest landscapes, urban agglomerations and mining dumps are to be seen from the summits of the Thetford region. Three times. That's the number of times we came to the Chaudière-Appalaches region in a year. At first in fall, see the flamboyant colors. Then in the heart of winter under thick fleecy snow.
